1 Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you") and Sutra AI Technologies Pvt. Ltd. ("Sutra AI", "Company", "we", "us") governing your access to and use of the Sutra AI desktop application, web dashboard, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By creating an account, downloading the application, or using the Service in any manner, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

2 Service Description

Sutra AI provides an AI-powered real-time interview assistance tool that:

• Listens to audio from your system (interview calls) via a desktop application
• Transcribes and analyzes speech using third-party AI services (including Deepgram, Groq, and Google Gemini)
• Generates suggested answers displayed privately in an overlay visible only to you
• Provides resume analysis, session history, and interview analytics via a web dashboard

The Service is intended for personal interview preparation and skill development. Features, availability, and pricing may change at any time with notice.

3 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service. By using Sutra AI, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 18 years old;
• You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement;
• You are not located in a jurisdiction where the Service is prohibited; and
• Your use of the Service does not violate any applicable laws or regulations.

4 Account Registration & Security

To access the Service you must create an account using a valid email address or Google authentication. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration;
• Maintain the security of your account credentials;
• Promptly notify us of any unauthorized use at security@sutra-ai.com;
• Not share your account or allow third parties to access the Service through your account.

You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Sutra AI is not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized account access.

5 Credits, Billing & Refunds

Credit System: The Service operates on a prepaid minute-credit system. One (1) credit equals one (1) minute of active interview session time. Credits are deducted in real time during active sessions.

Payment: All payments are processed in Indian Rupees (INR) via Razorpay. By completing a purchase you authorize the charge to your selected payment method.

No Expiry: Purchased credits do not expire as long as your account remains active.

Refund Policy:

• Credits that have been consumed are non-refundable.
• Unused credits may be eligible for a refund within 7 days of purchase if requested at support@sutra-ai.com, subject to a processing fee of ₹50 or 5% of the refund amount (whichever is higher).
• Refunds will not be issued for credits consumed due to technical errors on the user's device, network failures, or incorrect usage.
• We reserve the right to refuse refunds in cases of suspected abuse or policy violations.

6 Permitted Use

You may use Sutra AI solely for:

• Personal interview preparation and practice;
• Learning and self-improvement in technical and behavioral skills;
• Reviewing past sessions for personal improvement; and
• Resume analysis for personal career development.

Any use beyond these purposes requires express written permission from Sutra AI.

7 Prohibited Use

You may NOT use Sutra AI to:

• Cheat or misrepresent your abilities during actual job interviews in a fraudulent manner;
• Violate any employer's assessment policies or terms of engagement;
• Record, capture, or transmit audio or content from others without their consent where legally required;
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or extract our AI models or proprietary algorithms;
• Resell, sublicense, or otherwise commercialize the Service or output;
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access or abuse the Service;
• Harass, defame, or harm any person using the Service;
• Violate any applicable local, national, or international law.

8 Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service — including the software, code, algorithms, UI, trademarks, logos, and documentation — are owned exclusively by Sutra AI Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of any content you upload (such as your resume). By uploading content, you grant Sutra AI a limited, non-exclusive license to process and analyze that content solely to provide the Service to you.

AI-generated suggestions and answers are provided as tools to assist you. You may use them personally but may not claim them as entirely your own original work in contexts where doing so would constitute dishonesty or fraud.

9 Privacy & Data

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

Key data practices include:

• Audio is processed in real time and is not permanently stored beyond session transcripts;
• Session transcripts are stored securely and accessible only to you;
• We do not sell your personal data to third parties;
• We use third-party AI services (Deepgram, Groq, Gemini) which have their own privacy policies.

10 AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

The Service uses large language models (LLMs) to generate suggested responses. These suggestions:

• May contain errors, hallucinations, or outdated information;
• Are not reviewed or verified by human experts;
• Should not be relied upon for critical decisions without independent verification;
• Do not constitute professional advice (legal, financial, medical, or otherwise).

You are solely responsible for evaluating and using any AI-generated content. Sutra AI is not liable for outcomes resulting from reliance on AI suggestions.

11 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:

• THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND;
• SUTRA AI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES;
• OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM;
• WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY EMPLOYMENT DECISIONS MADE BY THIRD PARTIES.

12 Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately without notice if you:

• Violate any provision of these Terms;
• Engage in fraudulent activity;
• Abuse or misuse the Service.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Unused credits may be refunded at our discretion subject to the refund policy above. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive.

13 Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14 Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Hyderabad, Telangana, India under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.

Class action lawsuits and class-wide arbitrations are not permitted.
